Tandem Studio
The IEP is written. Now what?
Tandem helps special education teams run the 180 days that follow. We are building it with the people who live those days, and we want your voice in the room before anything is final.
Tandem Studio meets every other Thursday at 1:30 p.m. ET. Drop in when you can!
Why we are asking
Educators are asked to do mission-critical work with tools that make it harder than it needs to be. Too often, nobody asks them what those tools should do.
At Tandem, we ask. You will not be filling out a survey for a product that is already finished. You will be helping us decide what to build next, and what to change.
Tandem is an AI assistant for IEP management. It replaces scattered spreadsheets, notebooks, and hallway check-ins with:
01
A clear view of every student's services, deadlines, and progress
02
Smart reminders so nothing slips through the cracks
03
Compliance checks that surface gaps early

The team
Brendan Manley
CEO and Co-Founder
Brendan co-founded Tandem to bridge the gaps between the people supporting each student. His time working with SPED students taught him that context is everything, and he built Tandem to be the shared brain of the IEP team. He joins Studio to hear, firsthand, what educators need from the tools they use.
Cassie Nimphius
Customer Success | Former School Psych + Special Educator
Cassie was a special education teacher before joining Tandem. She knows what it takes to keep an IEP on track, and she is in the room to make sure we build for it.
Jen Hoitsma
Go-to-market partner
Jen has spent her career in K–12 edtech, building products alongside the people who use them. She believes the best ideas come from educators, so she joins Studio to listen, ask questions, and make sure what you tell us shapes what Tandem becomes.
Studio works because every voice in the room shapes what we build. If you work with students on IEPs, there is a seat for you, and nothing to prepare. Come when it fits your schedule, and as Tandem grows, members who want to go deeper may be invited into smaller working groups and our ambassador community.
Going Tandem™ means building it together.
